You can also explore the ‘Petite France’ which is a picture-postcard quarter once home to tanners, fishermen, and millers, now a haven of peace at the city’s heart. Strasbourg has also become renowned for its cuisine.

The tour will start with a private visit to the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. The castle is one of the symbols of Alsatian heritage and has witnessed the ups and downs of European history. In this private guided tour, you will become more familiar with the castle architecture, the Middle Ages, and the early 20th-century restoration. A stopover for lunch at a winstub, a local restaurant offering regional cuisine, will be made (lunch not included). Its incredible collection of wine bottles (65,000 bottles) has been miraculously saved from the two world wars.
