High-End Champagne Tour and Lunch at the Chef’s Table

A private driver will pick you up at your accommodation in a luxury vehicleand accompany you to two main Champagne house for private experience.

Your first stop will be at Maison Pierre Paillard.

This 18th-century vineyard, located on the legendary Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy is surrounded at the heart of a historic 11-hectare estate. This property, run by an eighth generation of the family is renowned for its chalky soil and the Southern exposure gives the Pinot Noirs a unique breed and identity.

In this private visit, you will be welcomed to immerse yourself in the world of viticulture as your culinary expert will guide you on a sensory journey from the Bouzy vineyards to the Chef’s table with a stop-over at Pierre Paillard lodge (awarded the Pierre Cheval Prize by UNESCO). Then, you will also have an opportunity to explore the ancient 19th-century Crayères and the magnificent barrique cellar (16 meters underground), where the wines are vinified. You will also learn the interaction between vine and wine.

At the end of the tour, you will experience a commented wine tasting at the Chef’s table. For a memorable experience, you will indulge in a 4-course menu, delicately paired with the house’s emblematic cuvées.

In the afternoon, head to the emblatic Ruinart winery.

At a depth of almost 40 meters, Ruinart’s chalk quarries, also known as the Crayères, reveal an entire part of Ruinart’s history and expertise in Champagne. They are also one of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Immaculately white, these former chalk quarries express all the uniqueness of the Champagne region.

In one of the historic rooms of the estate, the guide will explain the origins of this famous house and reveal how it has evolved since. Built in the 18th century, the humidity, lack of light, and temperature of the cellar are perfect for aging the champagnes. As no Champagne tour is complete without a tasting, you will enjoy two cuvées.

At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
