Day 1: Marseille Airport - Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence, the capital of Provence in the 15th century, is surrounded by authentic Provencal houses, traditional French-style gardens, city squares bursting with flowers, ancient fountains, and shaded narrow streets.

The Cours Mirabeau is one of the busiest and most frequently visited places in the Provence region. Named after the Revolutionary hero the Comte de Mirabeau, this fountain-studded street is surrounded by Renaissance hotels, beautiful verdant trees, and elegant private mansions.

Stroll around the 17th and 18th-century houses, with plenty of authentic cafes and labyrinthine boulevards. You can relax and smell the rich aroma of the coffee, listen to some upbeat techno music while away your time in a comfortable ambiance, and relish some of the typical Provencal delicacies.

Day 2: Aix-en-Provence

Gourmet Walking Tour of Aix-en-Provence

Join a local foodie for a unique taste of the lifestyle of magical Aix-en-Provence on a gourmet walking tour of the city. You’ll walk through historic golden streets, dipping in and out of food shops, tasting local specialties and learning fun history.

You’ll rub shoulders with locals in one-of-a-kind food shops and the daily farmers market, tasting the region’s seasonal sweet and savory specialties. Your guide will explain the history behind the city’s food traditions while meeting the families who run the best addresses in town. The tour takes place in the 700-year-old market square, where you’ll discover the seasons, tasting fruits and vegetables harvested just the day before.

The entire 3-hour tour includes all tastings at historic food merchants (pastries, Calisson candy etc..) and in the market (olives, lavender honey, fresh cheese and local hams) and a stop for a drink (either artisanal coffee or local rosé wine) as well as seasonal recipes and a map, which are handed out at the end.

This Michelin-star restaurant is located in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. Mickaël Féval opened his first gourmet restaurant in 2015. The chef makes cuisine that is inspired by his childhood as well as by traditions. The chef adds a modern touch with all seasonal ingredients to create a magical taste. The elegant cuisine is presented with care and passion to showcase the most beautiful products of their choice to serve you better and satisfy your hunger.

Privatization of an art center – visit and snack after opening hours

Meet the art lecturer of an art center in Aix en Provence for a private tour, all while the museum is closed to the public. You will be the only people in the building to discover the historical rooms of this former private mansion, the lush garden, and the temporary exhibition. The tour ends with dinner or cocktail (by a caterer) in one of the beautiful salons.

This townhouse in the Mazarin district has become a chic and elegant meeting place at the heart of the cultural life of Aix-en-Provence thanks to its prestigious exhibitions and, over at the garden, the charm of its café.

Day 3: Chateauneuf-du-Pape - Gigondas - Chateauneuf-du-Pape - Gigondas

Private wine tour to the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation

The region of Avignon, former home to nine successive popes during the 14th century, kept traces of its distant and glorious past. Among others are the prestigious vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas, well known worldwide for their fleshy and robust red wines.

Your driver and your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Gigondas. Here, they produce less-known but beautiful wines. You will be conducted through the vineyard before exploring a tasting workshop.

For lunch, you can experience authentic provincial gastronomy in a charming restaurant (not included). After a digestive walk, you will reach another vineyard or cellar for the second private tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape. The land of many great wines with the oldest protected wine destination in France. In this quaint village, enjoy a wine tasting in one of the finest wine producers of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. You will taste their red and the less-known white wine they produce in the region.

At the end of this well-rounded day, your driver and your guide will drive you back to your hotel.

Day 4: Roussillon - Bonnieux - Gordes - Gorge du Verdon

An idyllic piece of the rural landscape, the Luberon Regional Nature Park is an off-beaten-track area, a UNESCO-listed nature reserve in the Vaucluse department (Provence). The 120,000-hectare reserve encompasses limestone mountains, rolling hills, serene valleys, orchards, and farms. The picturesque villages of Luberon are some of Provence’s most charming destinations.

Your driver and guide will pick you up in the morning at your hotel in a luxury vehicle for a full day of sightseeing and experiences. The morning will be dedicated to the discovery of some of the most beautiful villages of Luberon. According to your interests and preferences, the tour will be adapted.

You will visit the lovely little hilltop village of Gordes that looks like the scene of a postcard or painting, with a dramatic setting. At the center of Gordes is a lively town square with many cafés, restaurants, art galleries, and souvenir shops. Within a few kilometers, you will find the Abbaye de Sénanques on a picturesque valley on the southern edge of the Vaucluse plateau. Surrounded by lavender flowers, the scene is a profusion of vibrant purple when in full bloom in June.

At the end of this well-rounded day, your driver will drive you back to your hotel.

Day 5: Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade

Day 6 : Vougeot - Gevrey-Chambertin - Vosne-Romanee (NW Dijon) - Aix-en-Provence

On this unique tour, you will taste a total of 25 exceptional wines, counting 10 Premier Crus (including 4 iconic and exclusive Côte-de-Nuits wines) and 15 Grands Crus (7 of which are extremely rare among the 24 existing in Côte-de-Nuits).

For lunch, your guide will take you to a restaurant where you can calmly enjoy a delicious meal. After this lunch break, your wine tour of the Burgundy region continues.

At the end of this stunning tour, your guide will drop you off at the airport, where your pilot will be awaiting you for the flight back to Aix en Provence. After your flight, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 7: Marseille - Cassis - Le Castellet

On the way back to your hotel, you will have one last stop to admire one of the most beautiful monuments of Marseille, the Longchamps Palace, a tribute to the Durance river that runs through the Marseille canal.
