Day 1: Ajaccio

Pick Up of your Rental Car at the Airport



At your arrival at the airport a rental car of category N (Renault Scenic) will be at your disposal. Thus, you can move freely and comfortably around the island. On the day of departure you will drop off the vehicle at the airport.



Inclusive: airport charge, insurances (CDW, THF), LAF, without mileage limitation. The charges for optional accessory are to be paid on-site : Additional driver, young driver extra charge - 25 years, GPS, One way.

Ajaccio is the county town of South Corsica. The rue Fesch is a pleasant pedestrian street and the city’s main road. You may want to visit the Musée Fesch, a museum of contemporary art which is located in this street. Browse the colorful abundant market, take a stroll through the marina or the picturesque narrow alleys, and immerse yourself in the authentic Corsican art de vivre! The city’s most notorious citizen is Napoleon Bonaparte who was born there in 1769.


One of the city’s highlights is the Domaine des Milelli. Nestling on the heights of Ajaccio, the property is surrounded by a twelve-hectare century-old olive grove. It is not surprising that Napoleon Bonaparte had chosen this idyllic scenery to set up his country house. Today the property it is a public Park offering beautiful strolls. Bonaparte’s country house is heritage-protected and therefore not open for visitors.

Day 4: Sartène - Serra-di-Scopamène

Suggestion: Visit of Sartène

Sartène, “the most Corsican of all Corsican cities“ offers a stunning panoramic view from the Gulf of Valinco to the massif of the Aiguilles de Bavella. Take a stroll through the picturesque narrow alleys and make a stop in one of the manifold shops offering local delicatessen. Most shops propose tastings, why not treat yourself?

One of the city’s most interesting museums is the “A Casa di Roccapina” offering exhibitions, shows and interactive activities. Audio-guides in English and many other languages will be at your disposal.

Day 5: Col de Bavella - Serra-di-Scopamène

Suggestion: Mountain Hike through the Regional Natural Park to the “Trou de la Bombe “

Participate in a hike through one of the most fascinating mountain sceneries Corsica has to offer. Via the impressive mountain pass Col de Bavella, you will get right into the heart of the Regional Natural Park. Craggy peaks, mighty cliffs and wind-bent pine trees characterize the landscape.

After a walk through the pinewood of Lariccio, you will reach the “Trou de la Bombe”, a naturally formed hole of 8 m in diameter in the ridge of the Paliri Mountains offering a breathtakingly beautiful view of the massif and the western slope.

Day 6: Corte - Vivario

Day 7: Vivario

Individual Mountain Tour to the Cascade des Anglais

Your mountain guide will take you to a unique glacial valley. After a two-hour walk along an ancient path, formerly used for the seasonal move of sheep and goats, you will reach a magic spot with vestiges of ancient sheep-farms, dozing on the shore of a mountain torrent shaded by a large beech grove – the ideal moment for a break and a refreshing dip in the Cascade!

Once rested, you will continue to the pass Col de Vizzavona via the mythic path GR20. During the whole tour, your guide will attract your attention to the untouched flora and fauna, as well as to the cultural heritage of the region.

Included: you will be accompanied by an English and French speaking official mountain and tourist guide. Venue and departure time: at 9 a.m. on the parking area of the Col de Vizzavona. End of our services: around 4 p.m. on the parking area of the Col de Vizzavona.

Duration: 3.5 hrs, level of difficulty: easy – commentaries in English – please provide: sneakers, small knapsack, 1 liter of water per person, a sweater.

Situated near of the Napoleon cave in the imeprial city of Ajaccio, this hotel is a 6-minute walk from the beach. It is just a 5-minute walk from the city centre and the beach. It offers air-condtioned accommodation renovated in March 2016 and with free Wi-Fi access. Each room at the Albion is equipped with a direct telephone and satellite TV. Some rooms also have view of the sea. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the Albion’s flowered garden. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in the lounge or in the guest rooms. The Albion is serviced by a lift and provides a 24-hour reception and a bar. Free baby cot / communicating room on request

Guest house Casa Sarrinca - Turchina room - Serra-di-Scopamène

Casa Sarrinca is an old - but comfortably renovated country house - made of granite, as it is typical for the Corsican architecture. It is ideally situated in the center of the small town Serra di Scopamena, right behind the church. The country house offers five cozy guest rooms decorated in the typical décor of the island. You will be accommodated in the room Turchina (16.5 m2, ground floor) facing south-east. During the winter season, a big fire place will generously distribute the heat in the living room. At meal times, the guests will gather around a huge antic wooden table offering comfortable space for each of them. In the garden you can play boules, badminton and cricket. Boules and rackets are at your disposal. The tourist’s tax is be paid on-site.

During your holidays in Corsica you will stay at the hotel Le Vizzavona. It is Ideally located in Vizzavona, in the center of Corsica, in the heart of the Natural Regional Park, in the immediate vicinity of the GR 20 and a few kilometers away from Corte. The Vizzavona is an old mansion composed of a hotel and a restaurant chalet, it is located in a vast park of 3000 m2. The hotel has 10 rooms that are spread over two floors. The rooms can welcome up to 2 people per room, some are arranged in twin rooms. Each room features period decorations, marble fireplaces, parquet floors and luxurious beddings. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, a hairdryer, a terrace overlooking the Monte d'Oro, and the WIFI. The accommodation also includes a living room where you can read a book or simply enjoy the moment, and a restaurant that offers simple and authentic Corsican cuisine. Smoking is not allowed in the property. Pets are not accepted. The tourist tax of 1.80 euros is to be paid on-site.
